Join  us on the first Thursday of May to celebrate the "National Day of  Reason"!! The "National Day of Reason" is a day for all to celebrate  "reason"-a concept that all people can support! The "National Day of  Reason" encourages all citizens, residents, and visitors to join in  observing this day and focusing on the central importance of "reason";  critical thought, the scientific method, and free inquiry to resolving  social  problems and promoting the welfare of humankind.

This  day is important in so many ways because it is an inclusive day for all  not just one group of people. We will be taking donations for those  that seek refuge through Turning point of Monroe ALL DAY in honor of all  of humankind!

"Turning  Point" is the only organization  in Union County that provides  emergency and lifesaving resources for  survivors of domestic violence,  sexual assault, and child abuse.
